Henry Cowell Redwoods State Park:
This state park has several hiking trails that range from easy to strenuous.
Redwood Grove Loop Trail- This hike starts at the Henry Cowell State Park Visitor Center. It is an easy, shady, flat 0.8 mile loop with lots of large redwood trees and you can even climb inside one or the redwoods!
RIVER TRAIL (1.6 Miles): Flat easy walk along the river to Eagle creek, then aggressive hike to points south. No bikes or dogs.
Natural Bridges State Beach: 2531 W Cliff Dr. Santa Cruz. This park and beach provides an excellent vantage point to see migrating whales, seals and otters playing off shore as well as access to tide pools. There is a $10 parking fee for cars.
Big Foot Museum: 5497 Highway 9 Felton CA 95018 This quirky roadside attraction dives into the many theories surrounding North America's most infamous hairy cryptid. OPEN :Wed-Mon 11-6 $ donation based
The Mystery Spot: 465 Mystery Spot Road Santa Cruz, CA 95065 The Santa Cruz Mystery Spot is a popular tourist attraction located in the redwood forests near Santa Cruz, California. It’s a circular area approximately 150 feet (46 meters) in diameter where visitors experience strange phenomena that appear to defy the laws of physics and gravity.
